Gary Anderson is through to the Quarter-Finals of the World Matchplay after seeing off James Wade in an 11-8 win and will now face Simon Whitlock - who stunned Michael van Gerwen.

Anderson spoke afterwards and said he is still after improvement; despite confirming his place in the next round.
“There was some good and some absolute tripe. I’ve got to work out where it’s going wrong," said Anderson post-match to Online Darts. "Honestly four months I've done nothing. I had to get internet out; all that hassle with the internet I had to play."
"I've got to the stage now, even if I go up there and even if I'm playing rubbish I'll try to win. But if I go home, it's a bonus. If I get through it's a bonus, it's a win-win situation just now."
