Luke Humphries managed to throw a 120 finish in spectacular fashion on Thursday night during the eighth round of play in the
Premier League Darts, in his opening match against Peter Wright in Dublin.
In the fifth leg of the match, Humphries was on 120 after four visits. 'Cool Hand Luke' started his fifth turn with a dart just under the treble 20, which meant the 'lipstick' was more or less blocked for the reigning world champion. As such, he decided to finish his remaining score of 100 another way. Humphries chose to go for the bullseye twice and this feat succeeded.
