Zong wins China Premier League and qualifies for World Darts Championship

Xiaochen Zong took the overall victory in the PDC China Premier League at the expense of Xicheng Han. As a result, Zong will compete in the World Darts Championship in December.

Leading up to the playoffs, Zong was supreme during the league phase. He won five of the seven rounds of play and finished at the top of the league table. During the playoffs, however, things almost went wrong for The Pandaman'.

Opponent Han led 4-0 in the final, but two 12-darters helped Zong quickly get back into the match. Han still led 7-6, but thanks to two 11-darters and a 13-darter, Zong then managed to move to 10-7.

This time it was Han's turn to return the tension. With three legs in a row, he forced a deciding leg. That was won via an 11-darter by Zong, who will compete at Alexandra Palace for the third time in his career.
