PDC Tour Card holders will not be allowed to play in the upcoming Dutch Open pairs it has been revealed. Chairman Barry Hearn confirmed this to Dartsnews.

This is due mainly to the tournament being streamed on YouTube so any players who would attempt this would fall foul of the regulations.
It comes after John Michael who recently regained his Tour Card won the BDO Romanian Classic this past weekend. This led to a complain from Dutch player Jeffrey Sparidaans, who lost to the Greek in Romania.
Tour Card holders Mike van Duivenbode, Jelle Klaasen, Vincent Kamphuis, Vincent van der Voort and Yordi Meeuwisse all had entered the pairs event at the Dutch Open, after the PDC gave them permission in the first instance.
This permission has been withdrawn after the news that the NDB is going to stream the Dutch Open. PDC Tour Card holders are not allowed to participate in tournaments organised by other darts organisations without permission from the PDC.
