The World Matchplay takes place this weekend with DartsNews looking back on a classic moment involving Michael van Gerwen.
Back to 2012 and Van Gerwen produced a moment of magic in Blackpool with a brilliant nine-dart finish which saw England cricketer, Freddie Flintoff on commentary for it as well as John Gwynne who sadly passed away recently.
He was 4-4 and connected with two 180's and concluded the perfect leg from there delighting the fans and the Green Machine himself.
