Michael van Gerwen was defeated for a second night in a row in this year's Premier League Darts losing out to both Glen Durrant and Gary Anderson this time in a 7-4 defeat.

“It just has to be better, this is not good enough”, Van Gerwen said on RTL 7. “Gary played reasonably but I have to be able to put a lot more pressure on him; and I was not able to do that tonight. Everything goes through trial and error; but I will come back sooner, hopefully on Friday. ”
Van Gerwen has been throwing new darts since the start of this year. “But that's not the problem, with the same darts; I averaged 104 at the beginning of this year and recently won two Pro Tours. Well, I'm not worried, I realise that I am not in the best form, but that can also return soon. ”
